I like teaching the Bible. But as I do, I find that sometimes people ask the “wrong” questions. Instead of asking questions I’m itching to answer, they ask questions I can’t answer.
Psalm 131:1 has become a precious retreat: “LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, nor with things too profound for me.”
Once my young granddaughter asked if God is ticklish. Now show me a theology text that addresses that question. I think her question was prompted by a ticklish swallow combined with someone’s teaching about Jesus coming into her heart.
